We are seeking a compassionate professional to join our Aging Services team to provide weekend support in our Meals on Wheels program. This is a part-time position, working between the hours of 11:00AM – 1:00PM on Saturday and Sunday.

In this position you will provide operational and administrative support to our Meals on Wheels program to ensure timely and accurate meal delivery to older adults. Respond to issues that arise during delivery routes, assist drivers and coordinators, maintain program documentation while building and maintaining positive relationships with volunteers, clients and staff. You will do this by:
  • Responding to calls from coordinators and drivers to troubleshoot delivery issues and ensuring continuity of services by performing delivery routes when drivers are not available as well as resolving scheduling and service concerns.
  • Communicating with kitchen staff regarding meal preparation issues as needed.
  • Managing documentation by processing client information such as discharge, EHR maintenance and reconciling records.
  • Assisting with special projects as needed.
Our ideal candidate has an associate’s degree in business administration, management, or administrative support or related field and two (2) years of verifiable experience or equitable education and experience. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) as well as experience using an EHR is preferred. Must be highly organized, possess analytical skills as well as the ability to work with minimal supervision. Someone who is detail oriented, flexible in changing priorities and have excellent follow-through is required as is strong written and oral communication. A valid driver's license, proof of insurance and dependable transportation are necessary for this position.
