Family Service Rochester is seeking a full-time Program Coordinator to join our FATHER Project Team. As our Program Coordinator you will support the operations and participants within the FATHER Project by helping fathers to be emotionally and economically supportive of their children. The primary goal of our FATHER Project Team is to enhance parent self-sufficiency, reduce risk factors for children and families, and promote child and family safety, well-being and stability. 

As our Program Coordinator you will:   

  • Enhancing participant’s experience through program intake and onboarding processes.  
  • Leading outreach efforts to increase awareness of program, promote program referrals and build collaborative relationships with community partners.  
  • Coordinating monthly program orientations.  
  • Collecting, organizing and maintaining necessary program documentation from participants.   
  • Supporting participant engagement by working alongside other FP team members to help plan, organize and facilitate/co-facilitate weekly FATHER Project parenting groups.  
  • Assisting in the development and implementation of program quarterly activities and other workshops designed to enhance fathers’ abilities to support their children both emotionally and economically.  
  • Maintaining program data, activities and outputs/outcomes.  
  • Monitoring and evaluating program effectiveness, making improvements as needed. 

Our ideal candidate holds a bachelor’s degree in a human services field with relevant experience, works effectively with a diverse group of people to collaborate within a team environment, effectively communicates with colleagues and clients. Must possess computer literacy and bilingual abilities are preferred. A valid driver's license, proof of insurance and dependable transportation is necessary for this position. Education and experience equivalent to four (4) years is acceptable in lieu of a bachelor’s degree.
